Local Marketing Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Marketing Team at Gordon Ramsay Restaurants as a Local Marketing Executive, supporting our UK brands with cover-driving activity, brand campaigns and third-party partnerships.

The Local Marketing Executive will play a key role in delivering first-class marketing campaigns, supporting restaurant teams and working closely with partners, agencies and third parties to amplify brand messaging, increase awareness and drive consideration across the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants UK portfolio.

Key Accountabilities:

Brand & Campaigns:

• Support the Marketing team in delivering best-in-class brand campaigns and activations across the UK estate
• Collaborate with restaurants, partners, agencies, designers and internal teams to ensure campaigns are executed to a high standard
• Assist with the creation of owned, earned and paid distribution plans to maximise campaign reach
• Support campaign reporting and post-campaign wrap-ups to inform future strategy

Marketing Collateral:

• Manage marketing collateral including menus, POS materials and campaign creatives

Third Parties & Partnerships:

• Support and help maximise relationships with key third-party partners (e.g. OpenTable) to ensure strong share of voice and cover-driving activity
• Assist in building relationships with local partners, landlords, associations and tourist boards
• Update restaurant profiles and third-party listings to ensure online information is accurate
• Create and share content with third parties and editorial partners to increase awareness and coverage

Digital:

• Ensure brand campaigns and cover-driving initiatives are reflected clearly on the GRR website
• Manage website content via CMS, ensuring user journeys are clear and engaging
• Create web and email copy to support campaigns and key trading moments
• Support the Marketing team with data and insights from Google Analytics, OpenTable, Single Guest View and other platforms

Restaurant Rollouts & Openings:

• Support collateral planning and execution for new restaurant openings and refurbishments
• Assist with marketing activity for new openings including launch plans, content, campaigns, partners and local relationships

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent written, editing and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident working with multiple stakeholders and priorities
• High energy, positive, enthusiastic with a sense of humour
• Team player and brand ambassador
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Customer- and guest-first mindset

Experience:

• 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing or local marketing role
• Hospitality, leisure or retail experience highly desirable
• Experience supporting campaigns, promotions, partnerships or local activations
• Exposure to multi-site or multi-brand environments advantageous
• Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred
