Locum Consultant Neurologist

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation wishes to appoint Locum Consultant in Neurology.

Roles And Responsibilities Of The Post

• The successful candidate will join a close team of existing neurology consultants at the West Middlesex site. The appointee will provide inpatient and outpatient services, in a busy, but well supported hospital.
• The post holder will deliver comprehensive care for patients admitted to the ward under their team.
• The post holder will also undertake ward rounds and conduct multidisciplinary meetings.
• The post holder will be responsible for prompt discharge planning of neurology patients under his/her care.
• The post offers immense opportunities for teaching and training junior doctors and medical students.
• Provision with Consultant colleagues of a service to the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Foundation NHS Trust, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness, and the proper functioning of the department.
• Participate in relevant audit and quality assurance processes, including reviews of manpower requirements
