The Role

As a Logistics and Asset Management Operative, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for managing customer assets/holdings and providing support to the Customer Teams whilst accounting for the comprehensive asset portfolio.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Interface with customers, suppliers, and colleagues to contribute to the smooth running of the stores function in accordance with Authority approved procedures, maintaining records as required to maintain a full audit trail.
  • As part of Goods In process, book assets into the Authority Premises, update audit and location details in the authority systems and arrange onward movement, tracking and updating as required. Arrange for internal collection of assets.
  • Conduct internal and external asset audits and update the Authority Asset Database as required.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping within the stores to minimise risks to Health and Safety. Additionally, make sure Company and Authority Heath, Safety and Environmental procedures are always implemented and complied with, advising of potential risks and mitigation where appropriate.
  • Ensure all checks on end users are completed prior to the despatch of any equipment, and that consignments are packaged with correct documentation.


This role is full time and based onsite at Ashchurch.

Essential experience of the Logistics and Asset Management Operative:

  • Possess general stores skills with relevant, practical experience in a related environment
  • Possess an adequate knowledge of, and compliance with, Health and Safety Policy and Regulations consistent with responsibilities as a Stores Person
  • Good working Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite


Qualifications for the Logistics and Asset Management Operative:

  • Full UK Driving License


Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance for this role.
