Position Summary
We have an opportunity for one a Logistics Co-ordinator working within the Physical Logistics team, the role is based at our Purina factory in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire.

A day in the life of a Logistics Co-ordinator
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your main accountability will be to be part of a team to maintain standards and administrative duties which includes SAP. Supporting the internal and external cold store and multiple warehousing operations. Being a multi skilled individual.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure high safety and quality standards are adhered to.
- Approach work with a continuous improvement mind-set.
- Comply with all company ISO, SAP & HACCP procedures.
- Internal and on-site cold stores SAP/invoicing work
- Planning of logistics yard activities
- Pallet storage control and account controller
What Will Make You Successful
The successful candidates will have ideally worked in a warehousing and supply chain/logistics role before.
You will need to demonstrate you care about always delivering high quality service and have a good understanding of health and safety legislation. You will be able to demonstrate ownership; high levels of results focus and strong communication skills and attention to detail.
We are looking for people who enjoy solving problems and exploring how things work, whilst continually thinking of new ideas to improve safety, quality and performance to meet consumer needs.
Other skills include:
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills
- Ability to use SAP with competent Microsoft office package skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve results.
