Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Company Secretary Assistant to join our dynamic team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven experience in company secretarial work who is eager to deepen their expertise in
corporate governance within a fast-paced, professional environment.
You will play a key role in supporting the
Deputy Company Secretary in ensuring our Group companies meet statutory and regulatory obligations. From assisting with board and committee meetings to coordinating partner equity documentation, your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and integrity of our governance processes.
This role offers broad exposure to high-level internal stakeholders (including legal, finance, and tax teams) and the chance to be involved in a variety of corporate matters. It’s a perfect next step for someone already working in a similar role who is ready to take on more ownership and grow within a respected, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance:
- Maintain statutory registers using company secretarial software.
- Assist with Companies House filings.
- Support Deputy Company Secretary with document preparation.
- Governance and Meetings:
- Arrange and coordinate meetings.
- Assist with agendas, minutes, and resolutions.
- Entity Management:
- Maintain accurate corporate records, registers and structure charts.
- Support Deputy Company Secretary with incorporation, dissolution, and restructuring.
- Administrative Support:
- Support with Partners’ equity documentation.
- Support Deputy Company with KYC queries.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance and tax teams)
Required Skills And Qualifications
- A solid understanding of the administrative support required within a Company Secretarial team.
- Membership of CGI or working towards CGI/ICSA qualification.
- At least 1 year experience in a relevant role.
- Familiar with Companies House forms and filing requirements.
- Familiarity with Companies Act 2006 and of best practice in Corporate Governance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ideally experience with company secretarial software like Diligent.
