LutonArts Admin and Marketing Officer

PURPOSE OF POST:  

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the work of the Luton Arts programme with the Luton Arts and Culture Strategy Group. Luton Arts is a two-and-a-half-year programme funded by the Arts Council England, Luton Council and Luton Rising and delivered in partnership through the Arts and Culture Strategy Group.

The post holder will be responsible for administration, events and marketing support for the Luton Arts team. This will include day to day administration for the Luton Arts team and support with associated events. Processing payments, tracking programme budgets and marketing of the Luton Arts programme. 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Day-to-Day Administration:

• Provide administrative support to the Luton Arts Team (three members).
• Maintain and organise files and records.
• Support with room bookings and events.                                                     20%

1. Support for Creative Luton Steering Group:

• Take notes during meetings and distribute minutes.
• Assist with scheduling and booking rooms for meetings and events.
• Provide logistical support for events, including setup and coordination.  20%

1. Financial Administration:

• Process payments and invoices.
• Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting.
• Help with writing and managing contracts.                                                 20%

1. System Development:

• Develop and maintain administrative systems to streamline operations.
• Ensure efficient workflow and document management.                              10%

1. Marketing Support:

• Assist with marketing efforts for the programme, including social media and promotional materials.                                                                                20%

1. Artist Support:

• Assist with evaluation and data collection for programme assessment.
• Support Project Commissioner with logistical needs and resource coordination for commissioned artists.                                                                             10%
