About the Role:
We’re looking for a dynamic Brand Specialist to drive the growth of our client Brand’s full price sales across Next UK, Next International and SEASONS. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key player in shaping the brand’s presence and success within a leading retail environment.
Reporting into the Merchandise Manager, the Branded Specialist will work closely with cross-functional teams including Merchandising, Buying, Ecommerce, Marketing and Design to accelerate brand growth and maximise business opportunities.
You will be responsible for leveraging data insights to optimise product ranging, trading and website optimisation. You will build strong partnerships both internally and externally with key client stakeholders to ensure alignment and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own brand performance by identifying key opportunities for growth:
- Product selection
- Sizing
- Ranking
- Gender mixes
- In season trading
- International Opportunities
- Online execution
- Marketing (inline with tiering)
- Work closely with the Client brand to understand their DNA and identify growth opportunities based on their internal sales and insights from other aggregator websites.
- Attend key internal product / planning meetings at the Brands HO.
- Identify opportunities for excluding product / access to tiered ranges.
- Review profit and margin and identify opportunities to deliver increased profit.
- Work closely with all key stake holders at Next and the Client Brand.
About You:
You will be a proactive, commercially savvy merchandiser with a great eye for product and detail. Confident in building relationships across teams, you thrive in collaborative environments and know how to influence decision making at all levels. Your experience in range planning, ranking, trading is vital along with your ability to turn insights into actions. A highly organised self-starter, you are driven to deliver results and take pride in pushing the boundaries to deliver results.
