M&A Analyst

Angove Partners is working with leading, specialist MGA focused on providing transactional insurance solutions, namely Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) and Tax Insurance. They are hiring for an Analyst to join their London team. It is an exciting opportunity to join a growing underwriter, offering excellent exposure and growth potential.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessment and analysis to evaluate potential underwriting opportunities.
• Support senior underwriters in structuring and pricing insurance policies.
• Assist in financial modelling, risk evaluation, and policy issuance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for underwriting decisions.
• Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices affecting underwriting.

About you

• English (both written and spoken).
• Law degree (LLB or equivalent) — knowledge of corporate/M&A law is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• A keen interest in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a high-pressure environment.
• Previous internship or experience in financial services, M&A, or legal advisory is a plus.
