I am working with a leading professional services firm is seeking an exceptional M&A Director with deep TMT sector expertise to join their growing Corporate Finance practice. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving deal origination, leading high‑profile transactions, and shaping the strategic direction of a rapidly expanding team.

Salary: £130,000–£150,000 base + bonus + benefits

As an M&A Director, you will take ownership of client relationships, lead complex mandates end‑to‑end, and contribute to the continued growth of a high‑performing advisory team. You will work closely with fast‑growth technology businesses, mid‑market corporates, investors, and entrepreneurs across the UK and internationally

Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute buy‑side and sell‑side M&A mandates within the TMT sector
Develop, manage, and grow client relationships at senior stakeholder level
Drive deal origination, leveraging your sector network and market insight
Oversee transaction workstreams including valuation, financial analysis, IM preparation, and process management

Mentor and develop junior team members, contributing to a strong team culture

Collaborate with partners and directors across service lines to support cross‑firm growth initiatives

Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

About You

Proven track record in mid‑market M&A with a strong focus on TMT
Strong market network within tech, media, software, digital, or telecoms
Confident in originating, pitching, and winning new mandates
Experience managing multiple transactions simultaneously
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
ACA/ACCA qualified, CFA, MBA or equivalent background beneficial
