M&E Manager

Looking for M&E Managers/ Technical Services Manager/ Building Services Managers (new build not FM) with proven experience and advanced skills in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.

· Principal Contractor providing services across London

· The company emphasizes strong values such as client collaboration, safety-first culture, and drawing upon group capabilities to support each project from inception to handover

· They currently have 100M Turnover

Main Responsibilities:

· The M&E Manager will develop detailed M&E work plans and schedules aligned with overall project timelines.

· Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, and other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.

· Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents.

· Resolve technical issues and provide on-site technical support.

· Promote a culture of safety among the M&E team and subcontractors.

· Manage the testing and commissioning of all M&E systems.

· Ensure all systems are fully operational and meet client requirements.

· Prepare handover documents, operation & maintenance manuals, and train client personnel.

Skills and background:

· Previously worked as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or Project Manager for a subcontractor, or as an M&E Manager/ Technical Services Manager/ Building Services Manager for a main contractor (desirable)

· Experience leading a project with a good understanding of pre-construction

· The M&E Manager can be from an electrical or mechanical background, but needs a basic understanding of how the two services integrate, what the major equipment is for each service etc will have experience in running projects from tender through to handover.
