We are seeking a highly experienced, motivated and enthusiastic nurse to be part of a committed and well-established Supportive Care Team. We are recruiting an individual who is passionate about caring for patients requiring supportive, palliative and end of life care within The Christie.
Band 7, 30 hours per week, Permanent position
As a registered nurse and degree holder, you will have proven experience working in supportive and palliative care and/or oncology, demonstrated by relevant qualifications.
You will also be a non-medical prescriber (or working towards) to enhance autonomous clinical decision making and practice and be part of our out of hours service.
You will actively lead on service development, education, research and audit and provide mentorship to relevant staff.

The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 60,000 patients a year. We are based in Manchester and serve a population of 3.2 million across Greater Manchester & Cheshire, but as a national specialist around 15% patients are referred to us from other parts of the country.
