Description
An exciting opportunity to work within our Macmillan Information Centres at both SGH and DPOW. Your main role will be to ensure patients and their families have access to information and support bespoke to their individual needs as well as providing support to CNS teams and Community.

Applicant must be able to travel across site

The post holder will be willing to develop skills in providing information and support and developing the services of Macmillan support within the team

It is essential for the post holder to have a car license due to the nature of the role and the expectation of travel

Good communication skills and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team are essential, as patients are cared for between ward and clinic areas.

A supernumerary period and full induction package will be offered to the successful candidate. In order to deliver the best care to our patients we want to do our best to invest in you.

Working collaboratively with the MISC team across the HHP ensuring effective communication across all CNS teams, patients and their families in providing information, sign posting.
