Here within the Cancer Nursing Team at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we are looking to recruit a dynamic registered nurse to the post of Band 6 Urology Cancer Specialist Nurse for 9 months maternity cover.
The role requires a nurse who can work autonomously within their scope of practice and support the team to deliver safe effective care to our patients. Furthermore, the appointee must be equipped with excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a diverse multi-disciplinary group of clinicians, patients, and allied healthcare providers.
You must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, organised, computer literate and able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to continued personal development.
This role will require flexibility and potential for cross site working.

The post holder will provide specialist nursing care and advice to a specific patient group and will contribute to the development of the speciality service. The post holder will ensure cost effective use of resources.
