Description Summary
Macro RAD developers work across a wide range of PM teams to maximize the outcomes of our deployed macro products and workflows across desks. This role balances high-level understanding of our large macro tech stack along with the development of innovative tooling and infrastructure to scale PM trading tools usage and deployment effectively.
In this role, you will:
- Work on designing and implementing live trading tools and Macro PM rapid applications that help PM pods scale their research and/or capture alpha.
- Develop rapid applications with a strong focus on system design and clean APIs that integrate well with wider firmwide core tech platform.
- Eager to learn and solve a wide variety of systematic problems across a broad range of financial instruments including Rates/FX/Options/Futures.
- Entrepreneurial in identifying opportunities while working the wide set of PM teams to scale the macro tech platform suggesting scope to build apps or merge apps as the use cases expand
Requirements:
- 2+ years commercial development experience, ideally working in a trading floor environment
- 2+ years python experience
- 2+ years working with other programming languages (C#, C++, java, rust, scala, etc. . .)
- Background in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or STEM
- Proficiency with one or more programming languages or data engineering frameworks
