Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Infrastructure Specialist with deep expertise in IBM i and IBM z systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure management, storage systems, and hardware, along with hands-on proficiency in CICS, DB2, and IBM mainframe technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IBM i & IBM z infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Administer and support mainframe storage systems and hardware components.
- Provide technical expertise in CICS and DB2 environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with IBM i and IBM z platforms.
- In-depth knowledge of mainframe infrastructure, storage systems, and hardware.
- Hands-on experience with CICS and DB2.
- Familiarity with system performance tuning and capacity planning.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
