Introduction

As an IBM Z Mainframe Architect within IBM, you'll lead the definition and architecture of end-to-end solutions that include the IBM Z platform.

Considered the go-to expert, you'll understand your client's broad technical strategy and challenges and will be able to eloquently articulate the benefit of IBM Z solutions that results in value optimization for them. You'll advocate for clients and guide technical teams to ensure planning, builds and deployments run smoothly and delight customers.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As an early professional Sales Specialist you will build expertise to deliver industry centric business solutions. You'll work closely with existing sellers in the first year to understand how we work with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business.

You will be enrolled in the zStack early professional onboarding program and an industry leading learning culture will set you up for positive impact and success, whilst ongoing development will advance your career.   • Client-Centric Management for IBM's Tech Value: Expertly manage a client set to showcase IBM's technology value proposition, ensuring clients realise the full potential of IBM solutions.
  • Strategic Decision Maker Identification and Partnership Building: Identify key decision makers, qualify opportunities, and establish valuable partnerships, enhancing the alignment of IBM's offerings with client needs.
  • Comprehensive Sales Process Ownership for Growth: Take ownership of the entire sales process, with a focus on new business development and organic account growth, driving expansion and revenue generation.

You will need to build and provide critical resources to develop the best solution for the client. Applying IBM brand strategies and offerings, methods, and models, to ensure world-class design and delivery for some of the world's most creative IT and business solutions.

You will actively engage clients, establishing trust and credibility in our ability to help them grow their businesses. Solving strategic and tactical business problems with IBM confirmed technology solutions.
