Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Corporate Office site in Thanet Grange.

Here, working in a small engineering team, you will work to a PPM regime while completing reactive repairs and small Projects/Installs.

The site is a medium sized office establishment accommodating many end user client staff and contains Critical Infrastructure for the customer's operation, from LV to HV distribution systems and various HVAC systems and Controls.

It is key that the engineering maintenance service is delivered to high standard and in a timely fashion, to ensure client satisfaction.

As part of the team responsible for this, this is a fantastic for a confident Maintenance Electrical Engineer to develop themselves with a complex engineering environment, working for a leader in the built environment space.

Actions will include:

• This role will be influential in risk mitigation which will include the understanding of the Safe Systems of Work & Policies and Procedures
• Become HV/LV Authorised person (if electrical bias) – Produce Safety Programs, perform and support switching functions.
• Prioritise scheduling of work tasks in line with SLA's.
• Surveillance of all Critical & HVAC systems, understand operating parameters and set-points. Act accordingly.
• Surveillance of all engineering related works undertaken on the premises.
• Support engineering work tasks allocated to team (team working)
• Ensure full disclosure / acceptance of critical service information at shift handover to peers.
• Provision of Safe operational programme documentation.
• Ensure correct escalation process is followed.
• Act on instruction, concisely and confidently in the event of an incidents

We need from you:

• Electrical qualifications and some building maintenance experience
