Maintenance Electrician

• Mon to Fri
• Standard Office hours
• Based out of a central office near Piccadilly station, with some coverage to 2 further sites locally in city centre, can either be made by foot or van (van not permitted for personal use)
• Overtime available
• 1 week in 2 call out policy at £2800 PA (historically call out does not happen much)
• 38 - 42k salary
• Further 1k payment upon LV AP appointment

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit a Maintenance Electrician to our client's corporate office in Manchester, a stones throw from Piccadilly station

The end client are a corporate banking organisation and this office accommodate business critical functions, and is home to numerous LV, HV distribution systems plus various HVAC equipment

Here, working within the wider engineering team, you will complete planned and reactive electrical maintenance on the site across power, lighting etc, while also completing minor mechanical and fabric repairs plus supporting on small project works

There will be some coverage to Spinningfields and elsewhere in the city centre, the travel can either be done on foot or by van

This is a fantastic role for a confident Electrical professional to advance their maintenance career working for a leader in the built environment space, involved with a truly major client

Actions will include:

• Respond to Reactive Maintenance Issues: Promptly address electrical and mechanical issues, including fault diagnosis and repair, to minimize disruption and maintain functionality, ensuring all help desk requests are handled efficiently
• Ensure compliance with quality standards to maintain safety and reliability
• Supervise sub contractors
• Operating the CAFM system
• Complete further training
