We are currently recruiting for a
Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our friendly maintenance team at our
Radlett Block Plant, located close to Radlett in Hertfordshire.
The site is easily accessible from
Watford, St Albans, Borehamwood, Bushey, Hemel Hempstead, Hatfield, Edgware, Elstree, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Barnet, and the surrounding areas.
Our Radlett Plant manufactures sustainable, tough and energy‑efficient aerated blocks that we see all around us — whether in our homes or workplaces, you are never too far away from one of our products.
Main Responsibilities
As our Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for undertaking plant maintenance, repairs and improvements to ensure maximum reliability of all plant equipment, and to assist team members in all aspects of plant operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to plant breakdowns and ensuring efficient repair of equipment, minimising downtime while following the maintenance plan and all Safety, Health and Environmental standards
