Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to recruit an Engineering Manager to spearhead M&E plus Fabric maintenance and lead on small projects across the customer's Luton site - a manufacturing site.
The client are a major defence sector organisation and this is a key site, where production is paramount, and maintenance must ensure it stays on
Here, you would line manage 5 engineers who work to a PPM regime and are able to complete reactive repairs, while working with specialist sub contractors, and resources from central functions
This is a fantastic role for a confident Engineering Lead to join a high profile contract working for a leader in the built environment space
Actions will include:
- To develop and maintain the maintenance database (TriRega) for site services plant, systems and equipment
- Lead and plan the maintenance team’s daily workload, providing “first point of contact” support to the staff
- To lead and develop the maintenance team and Control of Contractors teams, so that resources are used effectively and risk minimised
- To plan and cost minor works and reactive maintenance to the fabric of the building
- Ensure all competences are maintained and that all training required to meet the site needs is up to date
- Manage all sub-contracted maintenance services and maintain supplier database
- Manage and control all M & E sub-contractors when employed on site, including site inductions
- To maintain continuity of all essential site equipment and life safety systems.
- To carry out planned maintenance of site plant and equipment.
- Diagnose faults on machines and systems. Recommend, plan and carry out cost effective repairs and energy saving.
- Ensure all Statutory Compliance & Site Log Books are up to date.
- Liaise and plan work in with clients production requirements
- Observation and reporting of plant faults to identify potential improvements
We need from you:
- Engineering leadership experience
- Sound level of Engineering qualification
- Ability to pass SC
