About The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless production by responding swiftly to breakdowns, reducing downtime, and ensuring reliability through planned maintenance.

About The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in maintaining seamless production by responding swiftly to breakdowns, reducing downtime, and ensuring reliability through planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond quickly to machinery breakdowns to minimise downtime
- Conduct planned maintenance to improve equipment reliability
- Support in commissioning new equipment and upgrading existing machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety requirements
- Hands-on involvement, suited to those who excel in dynamic, fast-paced settings
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong engineering background in industrial or manufacturing environments, preferably within food production.
Key Skills
- Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing settings
- Competency in either electrical or mechanical maintenance
- Desirable: Completed 4-year apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering, and familiarity with hygiene standards in food manufacturing
- Seven-day fortnight: Work 7 out of 14 days, with alternating weeks of days and nights shifts
- 12-hour shifts (7am - 7pm)
- 27.5 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
