SDC Antrim is currently seeking for a Maintenance Technician to support their busy production operation.
Key Responsibilities
07.00 to 16.00 Mon-Thurs
07.00 to 13.00 Fri
No weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines
- Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed i.e. Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory
- Fabrication of equipment upgrades
- Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through to completion
- Ordering of spares
- Stock taking of spares
- Communicate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime
- Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date
- Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- To be able to Work at heights
- Previous experience in a similar role
- A team player with the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Health and safety awareness
