Management Accountant

Altum Consulting are working with a mission-driven FMCG business to recruit a Management Accountant. This role will be based in Central London and will be 5 days a week in the office.

Management Accountant role:

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Leading month-end close, including journal postings
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Producing commentary and variance analysis
• Continuous process improvement of processes and systems
• Business partnering with relevant stakeholders on various projects
• Leading the year-end audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Mentoring junior finance team members

For this Management Accountant role you'll be/have:

• Finalist or fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience preparing full management packs
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in stock control and reconciliation (FMCG or hospitality is ideal)
• Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness
• Proactive mindset with experience of process improvement and team leadership
