Management Accountant

We are seeking a temporary dedicated and highly skilled Management Accountant to join our Financial Services team on a temporary basis within the Senedd Commission.

This temporary opportunity, is ideal for someone who is ready to make an immediate impact and contribute to the financial stewardship of the Senedd Commission during a key period.

The ability to communicate fluently through the medium of Welsh is essential for this position.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting financial management and decision making processes within the Senedd Commission . Your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and management information reporting will contribute to the efficient allocation of resources and the achievement of the organisation's financial objectives.

Your main responsibilities will include; managing the monthly reporting process; improving management accounting practices; strengthening the control environment; analysing in-year budget performance, producing the Commission’s annual budget and supporting the project boards and financial reporting requirements for two significant muliti year programmes of work.

We are seeking someone who is adaptable and proactive and able to apply their financial experience to deliver high standards of financial management. Your contribution will help ensure effective stewardship of public funds and contributing to the Commission’s goals in supporting the Welsh Parliament/Senedd Cymru.

Bydd eich prif gyfrifoldebau'n cynnwys; rheoli'r broses adrodd fisol; gwella arferion cyfrifyddu rheoli; cryfhau'r amgylchedd rheoli; dadansoddi perfformiad cyllideb yn ystod y flwyddyn, cynhyrchu cyllideb flynyddol y Comisiwn a chefnogi'r byrddau prosiectau a'r gofynion adrodd ariannol ar gyfer dwy raglen waith fawr aml-flwyddyn.
