Management Accountant

Our client, a fast-growing, Private Equity-backed SaaS business are hiring!

They seek a proactive, commercially-minded Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting, performance insights, and decision support across our growing portfolio – including newly acquired businesses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts for group entities
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
• Analyse variances and deliver insightful commentary to stakeholders
• Partner with operational teams to understand performance drivers
• Support integration of acquisitions into group reporting
• Enhance financial controls and reporting processes
• Assist with board pack preparation and investor reporting
• Liaise with external auditors and advisors
• Contribute to finance transformation projects (e.g., system upgrades, automation)

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth business (preferred)
• Strong technical accounting skills and a sharp analytical mind
• Advanced Excel; Power BI and ERP (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) experience a plus
• Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Someone who’s curious, collaborative, and ready to make an impact
