Are you a detail-oriented, ambitious finance professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Accounts team in Newcastle where you'll play a vital role in the functioning of our firm. This is a varied role and you'll also have the opportunity broaden your skillset to gain more experience in reporting and tax.


What will I be doing

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts as well as the maintenance of ledgers and related records.
  • Assisting with the annual budgeting process.
  • Coordinating the preparation and submission of monthly client returns.
  • Contributing towards the maintenance and development of our financial reporting systems.
  • Supporting people across our firm with ad hoc reports and accounts information as required.


You'll have

  • A professional accountancy qualification or you'll be working towards qualifying.
  • Great analytical skills and you'll be confident in the use of Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, with a flexible approach to the workload.
  • A professional services background would be beneficial but this is not essential.
