Position Summary
Metrea’s UK Solution Development team, responsible for the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) is seeking a Pipeline Development Manager (CEMA) to provide technical engagement expertise to our growing Cyber and Electronic Warfare (EW) product and services portfolio. Metrea provides advanced, bespoke solutions through industry leading R&D and engineering, aviation services, digital and space solutions. With continued investment in next-generation capabilities, the company is continually innovating to rapidly generate elegant solutions to the most demanding national security challenges.
Metrea requires a highly technical professional with a deep understanding of tactical and strategic Cyber and Electronic Warfare missions who brings a track record of success in bridging the delta between operations and engineering. The ideal candidate will have broad market awareness spanning the Defence, Intelligence, Police and Security Services and possess EW, SIGINT, Cyber, Communications, and C5ISR domain expertise. The role will report to the Pipeline Development Director (UK).
Role And Responsibilities
- Provide multi-platform demonstration, training, and operational services (including Field Service Engineering) for Cyber/EW/SI solutions.
- Develop and grow the pipeline and portfolio with both existing and potential customers.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain customer relationships across Metrea Aerospace business units.
- Design and deliver campaign plans aligned to business strategies that support pipeline and portfolio growth.
- Generate market and competitor intelligence analysis including specific to individual opportunities.
- Support bid and proposal writing to win new business.
- Support bid and capture teams to establish overall proposal strategies and themes which clearly differentiate Metrea from competitors.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities capable of meeting or exceeding business objectives.
- Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide technical support and guidance as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure end user operational requirements are documented and fed back into the labs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technology developments, and best practices in field service engineering.
- Ensure that capability development is aligned to requisite standards and regulations for the UK and EMEA regions.
- Design and development of capability training documentation to the requisite national standards.
Skills And Experience
- A minimum of 10 years of operational experience in support of the SI/EW/Cyber missions. Experience in organizations known for building high-performing technical solutions.
- Broad market awareness coupled with a demonstrable history of identifying operational gaps and requirements – Defence, Intelligence, Police and Security services in both the UK and internationally.
- Proven experience with campaign planning, bid writing, pipeline development and customer relationship management.

- Demonstrable ability to network and engage to build relationships and partnerships externally with customers.
- Demonstrable ability to identify emerging business trends resulting in solution and strategy recommendations to senior management.
- Excellent communication skills and highly effective interpersonal skills are required as well as an ability to inspire confidence and provide business development expertise throughout the company.
- The ability and willingness to travel as required in the UK and internationally.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with typical working hours of 40 hours per week Monday through Friday. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week during surge periods with approval from the department manager.
Work Location
Remote (attendance at Lincoln or London office as required).
Work Environment
This job routinely operates in an office setting. However, the incumbent will be required to travel both in the UK and internationally for trade shows, capability demonstrations and engagement activity.
