What you'll do:

In the capacity of Manager or Assistant Manager - Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting you will be entrusted with pivotal responsibilities at the centre of a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exemplary regulatory reporting services. • Assist in overseeing the operations of the regulatory reporting department by planning, delegating, coaching, recruiting, and managing workloads to ensure a consistently high standard of service is delivered to both internal and external clients as well as intermediaries.
• Take responsibility for the oversight and approval of FATCA/CRS returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission in accordance with prevailing legislation.
• Support internal stakeholders by managing business-wide AEOI queries and providing technical expertise during entity close-off and transfer processes.
• Manage and coordinate the regulatory reporting process by monitoring progress and furnishing regular status updates to clients regarding reports and deadlines.
• Lead reviews of new regulatory reporting legislation, devise strategies for implementation, and deliver training sessions to assist clients in maintaining compliance.
• Guide, coach, and mentor members of the regulatory reporting team whilst evaluating performance and fostering a spirit of cooperation within the group.
• Assist senior management in identifying tax risks affecting the business and formulating effective solutions to mitigate these risks.
• Respond promptly to new business enquiries by ensuring all communications are handled efficiently and resources are thoroughly explained and promoted.
• Undertake various ad-hoc projects as required by management, producing associated reports with clarity and precision.
• Adhere rigorously to risk management procedures related to regulatory requirements, anti-money laundering legislation, CPD requirements according to qualification level, core values, expected behaviours, and any other duties assigned by management.
