Candidate Profile
A qualified CTA, CA, ACCA or Equivalent Degree or Masters in Finance/Tax.
Must have 4 to 9 yrs. of experience in tax and keen to join a listed B2B telecom company and spread across International locations. Be part of a leaner team which has high visibility and holds key responsibility to manage Indirect and Direct tax of company’s UK & EU regional tax.
Deal with 440+ Compliances, 30 Entities and presence in 20+ Jurisdictions.

Duties And Responsibilities
As part of the tax team, you will be a dedicated member to work for UK & Europe region.
Your main KPI is to be focused with compliances and ensure 100% tax compliance and avoid any type of interest or penalty.
SOX awareness and maintain 100% SOX compliance
Maintain transparent presentation to internal and external auditors.
Have the ability to use own initiative to resolve issues while demonstrating good judgement and seek clarification when required.
Collaboration is the key and being agile to work with internal and external customers to resolve any tax issues or queries with customer centric approach.
Supporting the team on any tax audits and leading them.
Work with external tax advisory firms and manage AOP.
All the compliances you prepare need to be well analysed and validated as an L1/L2 officer.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
Strong knowledge of VAT, EC Sales, Intrastate, Tax Policy, SAO, CCO.
Substantial experience in VAT.
Advance excel and Presentation skills.
Existing SAP ECC6 or S4Hana knowledge would be an added advantage while it is not a must.
Must have good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
Should be able to work under strict time pressure to ensure compliance dates are met.
Always have ability to collaborate and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
Think beyond and creative at work to introduce new tools and automation would be considered as a value add.
Keep a track on tax changes, rules and regulations across UK & Europe and lead to implement.
Work with internal and external auditors and swiftly provide responses.
