Nottinghamshire’s Managing Allegations Service has a strong track record of delivering a high quality, robust response to managing allegations (non-recent and current) made against those who work or volunteer with children. The service encompasses all operational aspects relating to investigations including a safeguarding response to allegations made within civil claims.
A position has become vacant in the Managing Allegations Service for an enthusiastic and dedicated social worker to join the existing team.
You Will Have
- Substantial experience as a childcare social worker in the UK
- Excellent investigative and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and report writing skills
- An ability to explore a breadth of information spanning a wide time frame and be able to reflect on/interpret social work practice over such periods of time
- An ability to adapt to new ways of working
- Skills in working with children and families and adult survivors
- Confidence and skill in presenting information to multi-agency meetings
- Experience in this field of work or relevant transferable skills
