What sort of work? Right now, our highly regarded Agriculture team is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious lawyer to join the team as a Managing Associate and to take an active role in growing the practice, working from our London office. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with drive and enthusiasm to continue to build their career and practice with a strong, well established team.
Why this team? Our highly regarded Agriculture team is ranked in the Top Tier in Chambers and the Legal 500. This is the largest agriculture team in the Country with over twenty lawyers serving estates, farms, rural businesses, and public sector clients across England and Wales.
Our practice is based upon the foundation of formidable agricultural and rural disputes expertise. Our 25 strong team is the largest in the Country and has extensive sector knowledge, and unparalleled experience of assisting clients with disputes, which also makes the team well placed to help properly document new ventures, and advise upon the legal aspects of agricultural and rural business.
This is a new role, created to complement and support our existing 5 partner offering as the Team continues to grow with excellent new hires at NQ level from our trainee base.
You will have the opportunity to work with the market leading team of agricultural litigators and transactional lawyers spread across London, Bristol, Cheltenham, and Exeter. The team has a broad range of transactional and dispute resolution work including agricultural property, contractual disputes, partnerships, public law and professional negligence. They are leading the way in advising on sustainability and natural capital and give practical and commercial advice to landowners, farming businesses, landed estates, institutions and others with interest in land and the wider rural economy.
They act for a wide range of clients including family offices, offshore trusts, charities, landed estates, public bodies, and rural businesses, but always calibrate our approach to client requirements and expectations. The team has a practice which truly covers all of England and Wales, with an appetite to continue to win the best rural and agricultural work across England and Wales. They work closely with colleagues across our Commercial, Corporate, Technology & Innovation, Intellectual Property, Private Wealth, Food & Drink, and Real Estate teams, ensuring that our clients have access to wider specialist knowledge when required.
