About The Role
We are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for a Year in Industry (YII) student in our team of Marine Engineers. As a Year in Industry student, you can expect to receive training from our experienced employees who will equip you with the knowledge, skills, and experience to propel you to the next level in your career.
Marine vessels represent some of the most complex manufactured assets in the world and as such provide interesting, challenging and rewarding work for the people that design, build and support them through life. As a YII within our Marine Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to be involved in projects across the lifecycle of various types of vessels and across different sectors.
This role is based out of Bath office where the majority of people within the Capability are based. However, the capability is part of the UK and Europe region so a balance of in-office, remote and hybrid working will be considered. Travel to other BMT offices (we also have offices in Glasgow, Plymouth, Bristol and Bath) and customer sites will be necessary as and when required (occasional overseas travel may be required).
