Role Summary

As a Market Access strategist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely and sustained access to our branded generics and first-to-market products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing health economics, market access, and reimbursement strategies tailored to local NHS markets, commissioners, and healthcare providers.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams to shape brand-related access strategies and navigate the evolving payer and policy landscape. This is a strategic and operational role requiring strong market access acumen, stakeholder engagement, and healthcare system knowledge.

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and strategically minded Market Access & Clinical Strategy consultant to support the successful launch and sustained access of our products in the UK. This role will be responsible for aligning clinical development with UK-specific market access requirements, including NICE submissions, NHS engagement, and real-world evidence generation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK healthcare systems, HTA processes, and clinical evidence planning.

Role Responsibilities

• Collaborate with global and UK teams to ensure product designs meet NICE and MHRA expectations.
• Define and support the generation of real-world evidence (RWE) to demonstrate product value in NHS settings.
• Contribute to the development of Integrated Evidence Generation Plans (IEGPs) that align with UK payer needs.
• Develop and execute UK-specific market access strategies for new and existing products.
• Engage with NHS England, devolved nations, and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) to support local access and adoption.
• Organise and participate in advisory boards, payer interviews, and clinical expert panels.
• Work closely with medical affairs, regulatory, commercial, and HEOR teams to ensure integrated planning.
• Provide strategic input into UK go-to-market (GTM) planning, launch readiness, and lifecycle management.
• Lead the development and execution of local market access strategies aligned with brand and business objectives.
• Provide insights into local payer environments, commissioning pathways, and the commissioner-provider interface.
• Support the development and deployment of value propositions, health economic models, budget impact tools, and business cases to support market access.
• Monitor and adapt strategies in response to healthcare policy changes and HTA developments at the regional and local level.
• Deliver high-quality access materials, including submission dossiers, presentations, and internal training content.
• Represent Novumgen in access-related discussions at local health economy meetings or formulary boards.
• Monitor UK healthcare policy changes and assess their impact on access strategy.
• Timely and successful NICE submissions and reimbursement approvals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in market access, NHS policy, or payer engagement in the UK healthcare system.
• In-depth understanding of the NHS structure, reimbursement and commissioning processes, and market dynamics across regions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to influence external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate complex health economic data and clinical information into meaningful payer value arguments.
• Previous experience with branded generics or first-to-market launches.
• Exposure to health economic modeling and budget impact analysis.
