Job Purpose

This dynamic role within the ICE Futures Europe (IFEU) Market Regulation department will support the team in ensuring that IFEU and its Members satisfy their regulatory obligations. The specific focus of this role will be the onboarding of new Members, the maintenance of and changes to membership status and the offboarding of Members. The Market Regulation Analyst will demonstrate excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, will be proficient at utilising data, writing reports and have an interest in finance.

Responsibilities

  • Review membership applications received for ICE Futures Europe, ICE Endex, ICE Futures Abu Dhabi and ICE Clear Europe.
  • Onboard successful Members and complete relevant set ups, communicating clearly with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure this process is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Consider and process any subsequent requests for changes in a member’s arrangements for accessing those facilities.
  • Liaise with members for the completion of the Annual Member Return process whereby members are requested to verify/update information relevant to their Membership.
  • Prepare reports for colleagues and senior management
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to telephone and email enquiries from Members and market participants.
  • Assist in the ongoing testing and enhancement of processes and procedures relevant to the membership team.
  • Assist with the review and publication of exchange circular communications.
  • Coordinate efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations, from internal sources (i.e. from second and third line functions) and external ones (e.g. from UK or overseas regulatory authorities).
  • Keep abreast of regulatory developments within ICE as well as evolving best practices in onboarding arrangements and controls.
  • Undertake ad-hoc project work.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Strong IT literacy skills
  • Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, interacting effectively at all levels, including with external stakeholders
  • Proficient at identifying various issues and working efficiently to resolve problems
  • Enthusiastic approach and a drive to continually improve and develop working practices and industry knowledge
  • Strong organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and to deadlines
