This Marketing Data and Research Officer role is an exciting opportunity to join the University’s award-winning and ambitious Marketing and Recruitment team and to play an integral role in supporting the efficient and continuous service of marketing data as well as co-ordinating the University’s quantitative and qualitative marketing research activities.
The University’s CRM and Marketing Data team is responsible for the management of data and research within the Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment department at the University of Huddersfield.
You will produce and communicate appropriate management reports on the outcomes of marketing campaigns to users, committees and groups involved in the monitoring and management of recruitment targets, as well as commission and carry out desk and field-research within the context of the over-arching market research and marketing plans.
As our Marketing Data and Research Officer, you will be educated to degree level or possess equivalent experience, along with two A-levels or an equivalent qualification. You will have experience in using data and evaluation techniques to analyse the success of events or initiatives, and have knowledge of online collaboration tools and software. You will also have the ability to summarise complex information for different audiences. Experience of survey design, leading focus groups, and producing research reports is essential.

This is a fixed term appointment for 12 months, however, as the post is linked to a maternity absence the end date is subject to change.
