PURPOSE
As ACT’s Marketing Executive, you’ll play a key role in delivering polished, impactful marketing across all our platforms. Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organised, you’ll take ownership of projects while
collaborating with teams to showcase ACT’s craftsmanship and collaborative culture.
This is a hands-on, dynamic role for someone with a broad marketing skill set who is confident working independently, initially under a part-time manager, and excited to contribute to a positive, high-performing, and entrepreneurially minded team. You’ll bring emotional intelligence and strong people skills, building trusted relationships across the business and with external partners. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in a broad marketing role (experience in construction or property desirable).
- Confident communicator with excellent writing and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Canva, Google Workspace, and any CRM/email tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Mailchimp).
- A self-starter with a team mindset, comfortable owning projects and collaborating cross-functionally.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Content & Collateral Creation
- Produce high-quality marketing materials, such as case studies, brochures, presentations, and email newsletters. You need to be able to confidently deliver high-quality visual graphics, and be able to write media-ready, professional copy.
- Be confident to liaise with, and manage, external marketing and design agencies, and design professionals (photographers, videographers and web designers) to ensure high-quality, on-brand outputs.
- Capture engaging content on-site and in our head offices, highlighting ACT’s craftsmanship and team
- spirit.
Event & PR Support
- Be ready to both support, and independently manage, the planning and delivery of internal and external events, with the assistance of our marketing, business development and people and culture teams.
- Work with our PR agency on press releases, and the planning and delivery of thought leadership opportunities for our senior leadership team.
Campaign Coordination & Brand Marketing
- Design and deliver marketing projects and campaigns against specified timelines, briefs, and budgets given to you, and proactively seek clarifications and approvals when needed.
- Contribute to curating our multi-channel marketing campaigns supporting ACT’s business goals, working with our external digital marketing and PR consultancy.
- Ensure all PR outputs align with ACT’s tone of voice, values and visual identity.
Reporting & Insight
- Support efforts to track and analyse marketing activity and share your opinion and insights for continuous improvement.
- Develop simple, visual monthly reports to communicate results to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Collaboration & Process
- Work with all departments, and particularly Business Development, Recruitment, and Operations to align marketing with our business goals and priorities.
- Uphold ACT’s values of Can Do, Integrity, Teamwork, Safety, and Passion in all interactions.
Website & CRM
- Regularly review and update the company website with new content and team updates as required, elevating any technical issues to our web support teams.
- Deliver email campaigns, taking accountability over driving engagement growth.
- Manage marketing qualified leads, including automated and manual database updating, on our CRM.
