Through our market-leading event, Mining Indaba, we play a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of Africa. Working with global communities, we create and facilitate game-changing business opportunities that inspire industries to build a more sustainable world.

Now, we’re looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team and contribute to the continued success of Mining Indaba.

As a Marketing Executive, you’ll support the Marketing Manager’s in delivering digital and content-driven campaigns designed to boost delegate attendance, elevate the brand, and drive overall event engagement. You’ll play a hands-on role in content creation, campaign coordination, and day-to-day marketing operations — perfect for someone looking to grow in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As part of your job, you’ll be:

• Supporting the Marketing Manager’s in planning and executing digital and social media campaigns.
• Assisting with delegate acquisition, sponsorship and content marketing initiatives across channels.
• Creating and managing visual content (e.g., graphics, banners, promotional visuals) for use across email, web, and social media platforms.
• Collaborating with designers and cross-functional teams to produce on-brand marketing materials.
• Supporting the team with general marketing admin tasks.
• Managing and updating digital content on the Mining Indaba website.
• Monitoring marketing performance and assisting with reporting on campaign effectiveness and KPIs.
• Helping coordinate internal and external communications around campaign timelines and deliverables.
• Supporting on-site event marketing, including signage, delegate messaging, and social media execution.
