About the Role

The Marketing Executive reports to the Marketing Manager and works as part of the London-based Business Development & Marketing ("BD&M") team. Its tactical responsibilities feed one larger objective: to promote and position our legal teams in our London, Jersey, Luxembourg and Dubai offices as leaders in their respective markets. The successful candidate will work with the partners and other BD&M team members across these offices to devise and implement coordinated programmes of activities utlising a broad range of marketing tactics to meet the objectives of the practice groups, offices and firm.


Responsibilities include:


Campaign Management

• Help deliver coordinated marketing campaigns, ensuring they integrate with business development and client relationship management plans.

• Assist in segmenting client communications and building targeted mailings in collaboration with the BD and Events teams to maximise engagement.

• Write, edit and proofread content across various formats, including web, print and video scripts, ensuring high-quality and consistent messaging.

• Work with our lawyers to prepare thought-leadership pieces and other profile-raising activities, including researching topics and drafting article outlines

.• Assist in developing and updating marketing collateral, branded materials, assets and merchandise in partnership with the in-house Creative & Digital Studio team to deliver engaging content.


Event and Sponsorship Management

• Provide general event support to the Events team, including pre-event planning, on-the-day attendance and ensuring a positive attendee experience.

• Assist in delivering communication and broader marketing activities around the client events programme and help with post-event debriefs to capture learnings and opportunities.


General Marketing

• Assist with the preparation of submissions for industry awards to enhance the firm's profile

and reputation.

• Support global legal directory relationships, ensuring consistency across the firm.

• Help prepare and deliver appropriate internal communications to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

• Work with the HR team on employer brand initiatives to support talent attraction and retention.



EXPERIENCE


What You Bring

In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:


  • A professional qualification in a Business or Marketing related field is preferred3+ years of experience (preferably in professional, B2B or financial services)
  • Engage credibly with all members of the organisation with high level of enthusiasm and ability to use own initiative
  • Ability to provide both strategic and operational support when needed
  • High level of attention to detail and the ability to handle a consistent and varied workload is essential
  • Ability to work well under pressure and juggle a number of on-going projects with deadlines and budgets while also maintaining high quality delivery
  • Ability to make decisions in a timely manner
  • Ability to apply logic and creativity to problem solving, ideally from experience gained in a professional services environment
  • Strong relationship skills and the capability to understand and quickly respond to the needs of senior stakeholders
  • Strong teamwork skills to work alongside and build relationships with the Marketing Team both locally and globally
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills
  • Strong project management and administrative skills
