Why we're hiring:

We are looking for a Marketing Lead to launch a new brand and service offering within the WPP Open portfolio and build a scalable lead generation engine from the ground up. This role is central to building fame for the new offering, making it the reference brand for transformative AI-powered marketing.

You will be responsible for framing and leading the marketplace conversation, executing a fast and innovative communications plan that drives awareness, credibility, and a pipeline of high-quality leads. You will own the brand's voice and identity across all touchpoints, working closely with sales and PR to establish the new offering as the category-defining leader.


What you'll be doing:

  • Brand & Content Strategy: Own and evolve the brand positioning, messaging, and tone of voice. Define and manage a content and communications strategy to launch the brand, engage the target audience, and create a library of compelling assets, including thought leadership.
  • Lead Generation & Management: Develop and execute the customer acquisition strategy. Define and implement lead management, scoring, and nurture processes in conjunction with the Sales Lead, documenting everything in a central Sales Playbook.
  • Digital Campaign Execution: Define, execute, and manage digital campaigns across channels like PPC, SEO, and LinkedIn to drive engagement and acquisition. You will manage the Open website and social media presence, continuously optimising for performance.
  • Automation & Optimisation: Identify and implement opportunities to automate lead generation and content creation processes, leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency.
  • Reporting & Collaboration: Monitor and report on lead generation performance using weekly KPIs and dashboards. Work closely with product, sales, PR, and leadership teams, providing feedback to continually improve the product, proposition, and marketing performance.


What you'll need:

  • Previous experience as a Marketing Manager in a B2B SaaS business or a large agency environment.
  • A proven track record of creating and managing content and communications plans to drive and support lead generation activities.
  • A proven track record of managing paid acquisition channels to meet customer acquisition targets and budgets.
  • Experience in optimising B2B websites for conversion and engagement.
  • Experience setting up and managing lead nurture processes and cycles.
  • Strong data analysis skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across product, sales, PR, and leadership teams.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities.
