Based in our Milton Keynes office and helping all national office’s, we are looking to expand and grow our small but perfectly formed Marketing Team. We are enthusiastic about introducing a fresh approach to the corporate market and take the same attitude with our marketing. We are looking for likeminded individuals to help to continue to build a strong Group brand that reflects our Opus culture, demonstrates our knowledge and expertise whilst also emphasising our personal approach to all who we work with.

This a new role so offers a real chance for someone to come in, take ownership of the role and make it their own.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans to enhance brand awareness, drive new leads as well as increase client engagement, and support business growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the professional services landscape, a data-driven approach to marketing, and strong leadership skills. The role will be working with all divisions in the Group.


This role sits with in a team, so you should be a good team player, who is willing to roll up their sleeves when required. Therefore, a positive, flexible, can-do attitude is what makes you stand out from other applications.


Key Responsibilities

Working as part of the current marketing team, some of the duties and responsibilities include:

  • Plan, implement and review multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content, social media, and event marketing.
  • Manage and continuously improve all elements of the brand, ensuring consistency, relevance and resonance; including development of a robust version-controlled repository of all approved/active collateral.
  • Lead and manage the creation of high-quality digital and traditional marketing content, including brochures, signage, website, video and social media.
  • Continuously develop and improve the website, ensuring it reflects our values, services, impact and outcomes.
  • Lead content development initiatives, including PR, thought leadership, reports, case studies, interviews and articles and the type of media used to convey our messaging.
  • Constant scanning for opportunities to engage stakeholders and raise profile to attract further business development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Group to align marketing efforts with business goals.
  • Organise and manage physical and digital events, with a clear aim to support sales as well as enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor and analyse key marketing data, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement for both external and internal marketing.
  • Manage external agencies, suppliers, and partnerships to support marketing activities.
  • Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.



Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Marketeer within the professional services sector (e.g., legal, accounting) or financial services market.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities to meet tight/competing deadlines.
  • Experience in digital marketing (including SEO, digital advertising, social media, and email marketing).
  • Experience of using insight and analytics to shape strategy and demonstrate value for money.
  • Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – internal and external.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.


To be able to carry out this job with confidence, the person will need to have:


  • Ideally at least 5 years’ experience in a marketing role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Knowledge and experience of social media platforms, Google, CMS and design packages.
  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field and/or professional certifications (e.g., CIM) an advantage.
