Our Role
World Nuclear Association are looking to recruit a Marketing Manager to work within its Communication & Marketing department. In this role you will be responsible for leading the delivery of targeted campaigns and membership communications that promote the Association’s work and enhance the member experience. Working across teams, the role ensures marketing activity is well coordinated, aligned with organisational goals, and delivers measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Head of Communication & Marketing and the External Communication & Campaigns Manager to design and deliver integrated marketing strategies to promote the Association’s activities, events and products
- Oversee the marketing campaign lifecycle, including planning, content development, deployment, budget tracking and performance optimisation.
- Lead the development and execution of direct marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery, effective targeting, ongoing optimisation and measurable outcomes.
- Maximise the Association’s visibility at global events by leading the delivery of marketing collateral and on-site promotional materials (e.g. pop-ups, stands, flyers, brochures etc).
- Collaborate with the External Communication & Campaigns Manager, the Association’s design team and external agencies, on online content marketing to promote nuclear energy and the Association
- Work closely with the External Communication & Campaigns Manager to implement the Association's social media strategy; aligning channel activity with marketing goals and organisational priorities
- Develop and implement event marketing strategies in collaboration with the Events team – including pre-event promotion, in-event visibility, and post-event reporting
- Work closely with the Learning & Capacity Development team to market World Nuclear University programmes effectively
- Contribute to the creation of engaging content (articles, blogs, videos, infographics etc) for the Association’s digital platforms (including websites, members’ area and social media channels)
- Develop strategies to engage members and other key stakeholders, with a particular focus on value-added membership communications.
- Coordinate with Membership & Business Development team, and other colleagues, to produce engaging and regular membership communications, such as newsletters and member updates.
- Project manage the production of key communications materials, including the Association’s annual report (Association at Work)
- Serve as Staff Director for the Communication Advisory Group, strengthening engagement with member organisations’ communications and marketing teams.
- Stay up-to-date with marketing and communications trends and best practice, and bring forward innovative ideas to improve reach and impact
- Establish & maintain up-to-date third party distribution lists for outreach and promotion purposes
- Work closely with External Communication colleagues to coordinate delivery of Association written content e.g. advocacy material (white papers, nuclear essentials, infographics, videos, campaigns, etc)
- Develop and manage relationships with external partners including vendors, agencies, and freelance creatives etc
- Support the Head of Communication & Marketing with additional tasks as required
About You
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing management, with a strong track record of delivering successful direct email marketing campaigns and using CRMs
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing platforms, with demonstrable proficiency in social media, email marketing, and analytics tools
- Experience in membership communications or working with stakeholder-based organisations is desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communicator, with the ability to tailor messages and tone across a range of channels and audiences
- Highly organised and proactive, with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines effectively
- Collaborative team player who can also work independently and take ownership of tasks
