The opportunity
The marketing team is seeking a proven and highly motivated individual that will define, develop and implement marketing plans that will elevate our brand, drive client acquisition and foster lasting partnerships for Bloomberg's compliance and regulatory solutions. This global role is integral to driving strategic marketing initiatives encompassing efforts from our internal government relations team and activity as well.
Requiring close collaboration with team members across sales, product, engineering and communications teams, you will work to manage cross-channel execution of your marketing programs to the highest standards. The primary remit of this role is across both the AMER and EMEA sales region, but you will also partner closely with other marketing managers across the APAC region who cover key compliance audiences across the buy and sell-side, ensuring we are sharing standard processes, maximising overlapping campaigns, and driving a similar narrative.
You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, be able to manage a high volume of projects and demonstrate financial services knowledge and a passion for our brand.
We’ll Trust You To
- Collaborate with business partners to identify marketing priorities and build supporting campaign execution, from planning to implementation through all functional marketing areas (events, content, digital), as well as internal & external agencies
- Work closely with regional marketing managers globally to ensure the solutions/audiences you are responsible for are supported with well-informed and innovative marketing programs that optimally deliver a return on our marketing investment
- Run your own workload and prioritize multiple requests from various parts of the business
- Manage budget for your respective areas with ongoing optimization across the Marketing channel mix
- Become an advocate for the Bloomberg brand to ensure all marketing activities are aligned and support the overall brand
- Work across multiple teams to deliver the best results
- Adapt, learn quickly and be resourceful
- Be innovative and creative to bring new ideas to the team
You’ll Need To Have
- 8+ years minimum of experience working as a marketing professional
- A good understanding of the global financial markets
- Knowledge about key financial organisation types (banks, hedge funds, asset managers, etc) and their financial professionals and decision makers (traders, analysts, portfolio managers, compliance and risk managers etc)
- Demonstrable ability to partner with the business and internal marketing teams
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills with an ability to create project plans and manage through seamless execution
- Proven leadership and relationship management skills
