We are looking for a Marketing Services Lead to join our Services Propositions Team within eCommerce at NEXT. Based from NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire with a competitive salary range and fantastic benefits!

The eCommerce Services Propositions team plays a pivotal role in enhancing the NEXT online shopping experience. They champion and own the development and evolution of key customer-facing services, including our flexible credit offerings, convenient delivery subscription and engaging promotional activities. Their focus is on creating and optimising products and streams that add significant value and support a seamless shopping journey for our customers.
About the role:
As Marketing Services Lead, you will take the reins on strategy and leadership, driving bold, high-impact marketing across a range of innovative NEXT Service Propositions. You will craft and execute powerful campaigns that drive customer acquisition, spark engagement and boost retention, all while staying tightly aligned with our business goals. You’ll lead and inspire a Marketing Executive, building a high-performance team culture and delivering best in class campaigns.
What else is involved?
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the overarching short- and long-term marketing strategies for multiple service propositions, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
- Target Achievement: Accountable for the delivery of short- and long-term targets set by the business across all assigned service streams.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
- Cross-Functional Integration: Champion collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless integration of marketing campaigns with broader business initiatives.
- Portfolio Project Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple system development projects related to your proposition streams, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Commercial Opportunities: Proactively identify, investigate, and champion significant commercial opportunities, communicating their potential to senior stakeholders.
- Customer Journey Optimisation: Drive initiatives to understand and enhance the end-to-end customer journey across all services, identifying and implementing improvements.
- Advanced Market Analysis: Lead in-depth analysis of competitor landscapes and consumer trends to inform and refine high-level marketing strategies.
- Audience Engagement: Collaborate closely with Data Science and Customer Research to define, identify, and effectively engage with key audience segments across multiple propositions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities and campaigns across the service portfolio adhere strictly to relevant advertising regulations.

- An expert project and portfolio manager, skilled at juggling multiple complex marketing initiatives with precision and purpose.
- A data-driven decision-maker, confident in turning complex consumer, customer, and market insights into clear, strategic action across diverse propositions.
- Commercially sharp, with a deep understanding of how marketing strategies influence the bottom line and drive business growth at scale.
- A persuasive communicator who can confidently influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, securing buy-in for bold strategic moves.
- A natural presenter, able to distill complex ideas into compelling narratives for executive audiences.
- A multi-channel marketing pro, experienced in building and executing end-to-end campaigns that cut across digital, offline, and emerging platforms.
- A target-driven leader with a strong track record of delivering (and exceeding) business objectives across multiple revenue streams.
- Experienced in services marketing—whether that’s delivery propositions, promotions, financial products, or subscription-based models—and ideally in a leadership role.
- A strategic coordinator who sees the big picture but keeps a close eye on the details, expertly aligning strategy and execution.
- A resilient, positive leader who inspires confidence and brings energy, even in high-pressure situations.
