Week 1
We’re currently looking for a Material Controller at our Gosport site in Hampshire, UK, and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. You will be working on a shift-based pattern as below:
6am-6pm
Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat and Sun
Week 2
6am -6pm
Wed and Thurs
Your opportunity
We’re currently looking for a Material Controller at our Gosport site in Hampshire, UK and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. You will be working on a shift-based pattern (details to be confirmed at interview).
What you’ll be doing
- Support planning and production teams by preparing shop orders, resolving material issues, and ensuring accurate system updates.
- Control and plan inbound deliveries and inter-warehouse transfers to support production and dispatch schedules.
- Conduct weekly physical stock checks, reconcile with records, and investigate discrepancies.
- Use Snap/BPCS systems to locate, track, and manage materials for reuse and accuracy.
- Interpret raw material and WIP requirements using production plans and manage delivery to production units.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Values similar to ours: Care, Dare and Deliver
- A self-motivated, reliable team player with strong problem-solving and prioritisation abilities.
- Strong PC skills including MS Office; confident communicator via phone, email, and Teams.
- Forklift license (Counterbalance/Reach).
- GCSE Grade C or above in English and Math’s.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory control, ideally with WMS systems such as SNAP/BPCS.
