Description

We are looking for a Materials Project Engineer for our Automotive customer based in Surrey, UK.


The role responsibilities include:

Define material-related project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.

Manage material-related project scope, timelines, and budgets.

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers

Support procurement with material and vendor evaluations

Experience of creating test plans and facilitating material tests

Create and maintain material specifications, standards, and qualification procedures.

Preferred 20% technical, 80% project management


Technical skills:

Strong understanding of composites (particularly carbon fibre)

Knowledge of material testing standards and correlation to CAE Knowledge of crash structures preferred.


Additional Info:

Available onsite for 2 days a week

40 hours per week
