At PAHT, we work with our service users to offer personalised care grounded in kindness and compassion. We are passionate about ensuring women and families have a positive experience each and every time they attend maternity services. The primary aim of the Triage and Day Assessment Unit (DAU) manager is to ensure that a high-quality service is provided to women, people and their families.
You will provide compassionate and effective leadership, clinical expertise, and positive role modelling to your team, empowering them to be innovative. The environment you create will facilitate excellent standards of safe, personalised and evidence-based care in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team.
You will be responsible for the operational management of clinical service delivery at ward level for maternity triage and DAU and have responsibility for the effective and efficient operational management of the service within allocated resources.
You will organise others in their actions and set priorities, objectives and goals within their sphere of responsibility. This includes performance management of both the activity and members of the Maternity Triage and DAU team. You will be accountable for the quality, delivery and monitoring of robust infection control measures, midwifery standards and women’s experience indicators within all areas of the service
