What You'll Be Doing

As our Medical Matron, you'll be at the forefront of driving excellence. Your role will involve:

  • Leading and empowering teams to consistently provide outstanding, patient-centred care ensuring staff are supported and services are continuously improved.
  • Championing innovative practice and evidence-based approaches to make a tangible difference in patient outcomes.
  • Taking responsibility for delivering key quality targets and promoting excellence in nursing care.
  • Contributing significantly to service improvement initiatives, both within medicine and across the wider trust.
  • Playing a crucial role in achieving financial performance targets without compromising on care quality.
  • Lead audits, oversee incident investigations, compliments and complaints.
  • Work as a key member of the specialist triumvirate
