Underpinning the entire customer experience, Sky has extensive Mechanical and Electrical systems spread across many geographical locations.
This role is to focus on the key aspect of M&E systems and ensure their accurate operation and maintenance providing a firm platform for business success.
What You’ll Do
- Carry out day to day “hands on” activities within the mechanical and electrical group.
- Show a good working knowledge of site M&E equipment, and work to a high standard.
- Show a good working knowledge of 230/410 electrical systems including 48v DC systems
- Carry out preventative maintenance on Sky assets as required.
- To utilise existing skills and develop further skills to carry out more specialised tasks.
- To work as an individual performing routine tasks (after training period) and work alongside others.
- To own and accept responsibility for sites allocated to you to maintain.
What You’ll Bring
- Be suitably qualified to C&G standards in electrical or mechanical maintenance or installation,
- Specialist knowledge of cooling systems, UPS systems, DC systems Fire systems would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in any of the above.
- Must be PC literate and be able to communicate using modern systems.
- Must be able to identify problems, seek solutions and evaluate correct options for corrective action.
