Right across infrastructure, there’s a requirement to not only maintain, but also renew and reimagine. Whatever stage you’re at in your career, with us you’ll have an opportunity to grow and develop. Delivering essential infrastructure services for life, while being safety first, and client and customer centric in a friendly, fun and respectful environment where you are encouraged to thrive.
Where will you be working?
At M Group Water we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will join BES - specialists, providing a fully-integrated service to clients within the pharmaceutical, life sciences and healthcare sectors. Using our expertise to create cutting-edge cleanrooms, laboratories and other sophisticated environments. Combining design, digital innovation and construction capabilities to provide a complete multidisciplinary offering. From process engineering to structural and civil, architectural, mechanical/HVAC and electrical services.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you’ll be hands-on with creating detailed and coordinated drawings using AutoCAD and Revit, taking ideas from concept to construction-ready documentation.
You'll be working closely with design engineers, turning vision into high-quality schematics and 3D models that meet BIM standards and industry expectations.
You'll also be part of a collaborative team where your input matters. Whether that's mentoring apprentices, reviewing design risks, or contributing to clash detection processes.
Document management and preparing transmittals for statutory submissions will be part of your routine, helping projects run smoothly and meet compliance deadlines. And with projects in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and food production, everything you produce contributes to critical, safety-sensitive environments.
Based at the Rochdale office, you'll also be involved in on-site surveys, gathering data that feeds directly into your models.
What You’ll Bring
- You’ll need strong experience working with AutoCAD and Revit - ideally across both 2D schematics and fully coordinated MEP models
- A good understanding of BIM Level 2 is essential, along with skills in managing templates, project parameters and visibility settings as designs evolve
- You’ll bring practical experience from sectors where accuracy and compliance count, especially in pharmaceutical, healthcare or cleanroom environments. If you’ve delivered turnkey design and installation packages before, even better.
- You're familiar with CDM regulations and design risk assessments, and comfortable helping teams stay compliant with safety and environmental standards
- On top of all that, you’ll know what good looks like when it comes to quality - following ISO 9001 standards and producing information that installation teams can depend on
What’s in it for you?
We offer a range of benefits designed to support your life in and out of work, some of which include;
- Matched pension scheme
- Life assurance
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Hybrid working is available following initial probationary period.
In addition, this role offers;
- Salary sacrifice Car Scheme
