Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: Bristol-area
Salary: Up to £45,000 p/a (DOE)
Full-Time | Permanent
Carbon60 have partnered with leading manufacturing client in the Bristol area who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing new mechanical products and improving existing ones
- Creating bespoke solutions for customer-specific requirements
- Managing engineering projects from concept to completion
- Producing technical drawings and conducting FEA analysis
- Preparing reports and maintaining compliance documentation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams across the business
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD systems
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Experience with aluminium structures (preferred)
- ERP system knowledge and commercial awareness
